Las Vegas, located in Southern Nevada, in the Mojave Desert, offers visitor much in the way of excitement and fun. Although most people know Las Vegas holidays for their stunning flashing lights and gambling casinos, there are many more marvellous things to do in this magnificent city.

There is a vast array of casinos in Las Vegas providing entertainment for visitors in the form of gambling, shows and outdoor extravaganzas. Here, people can partake in many forms of gambling from poker to slot machines. They will also have the unique opportunity to see the fabulous fountain display outside of Bellagio and the white tiger enclosure or the dolphin exhibit outside of the Mirage.

Las Vegas hosts some of the most well-known and highly-regarded night shows of the country. Some of the most popular shows in Las Vegas include the Cirque de Soleil, the O at the Bellagio, the KA at the MGM Grand, Mamma Mia at Mandalay Bay, the Tournament of Kings at the Excaliber and the Blue Man Group at the Venetian.

The Fremont Street Experience, in downtown Las Vegas, is a 5 block long street mall. Here, people will find a large canopy covering 4 blocks and a light and sound show held each night. All around the canopy, tourists can find various casinos, a vast array of restaurants and several bars.

Whatever people may choose to do in Las Vegas, there is sure to be something to keep them entertained. In addition to the attractions stated above, there is also excellent golfing and plenty of outdoor activities available in Lake Mead Recreational Park. With its broad range of entertainment, Las Vegas is the idea place for anyone to visit.
