Alternately known as the “Entertainment Capital of the World” and “Sin City,” the city of Las Vegas is carved from the deserts of Nevada and offers incomparable options, including luxurious restaurants, massive casino hotel complexes and wide range of live shows and entertainment. 1. The Bellagio
Visiting the Bellagio is like visiting several interesting locations at the same time. Visitors congregate at the fountains just outside the hotel to watch the free water show every 15 minutes at night. The hotel has an amazing botanical garden and gallery of fine art, a great place for those wanting a little culture on their Las Vegas holidays.
2. The MGM Grand
The lion habitat, housing the descendant of the original MGM lion, is one of the unusual attractions of the MGM Grand Hotel. Near the habitat is the Garden Café, a restaurant simulating a tropical paradise, complete with gardens and a pool.
3. Fremont Street Experience
The Fremont Street Experience is a free show happening in downtown Las Vegas. The show features a choreographed light and sound show displayed on a massive projection screen.
4. The Mirage
The hotel has a volcano that erupts with an amazing light show every hour after 6 pm. In the hotel, there is an impressive aquarium and dolphin habitat for the enjoyment of adults and kids alike.
5. The Neon Museum and Boneyard
This unique museum displays the retired neon signs from the early years of Las Vegas. Some of the signs have been restored and put on display along various locations in Las Vegas.
